We’re on a mission to clean up your daily coffee habit

While your coffee disappears in ten minutes, the cup sticks around for decades.

It began, as most good ideas do, over coffee. A couple of Kiwis who could see that the daily brew in their hand was contributing to a big problem: millions of plastic cups and lids going to landfill every year.

The idea that our morning flat white could outlast our grandchildren didn’t sit right with us, so we started asking: how can we fix the plastic problem?

We found others asking the same questions – and doing something about it.

They’d already created compostable cup technology made purely from natural materials—no plastic, no fine print.

With a shared vision for creating something that lived up to its claims, we teamed up to get a better single-use solution into the hands of more coffee lovers.

Takeaway cups are just the beginning. The real mission is to make everyday sustainability more honest, and to leave New Zealand a little better than we found it.
